I’ve never talked to anyone. I’m used to handling things on my own. Does this make me weak?
Not at all! People who ask for help know when they need it are allowing them selves to be vulnerable. Might sound counterintuitive but being vulnerable takes a lot of courage! Most importantly our time together is not meant to serve to point out your perceived weaknesses. In our work together, I will help you explore and identify areas of strengths you already have and how to implement them in your daily life.
What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend or family?
Talking to friends and family can prove to be validating at times though venting alone may not produce the solution you desire in the long run. By incorporating my expertise and professional training I will provide you with the knowledge necessary to help understand where you are at and how we can achieve an even greater state of life satisfaction. An important added benefit in our work together is the unbiased, confidential and non-judgemental perspective I pledge to you as your coach.
How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?
Customarily sessions take place on a weekly basis though everything is customized to your goals. I will tailor my approach and integrate techniques based on the desired outcome. I am not expecting anything of you so just show up as yourself, it will help us get you to the most authentic version of you.
How long will it take?
Just as no two people are the same, no two journeys are the same. Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them and the length of time may vary. What’s most important is to keep an open communication together so we can tailor your journey specifically to your needs and desires.
